The 2010 Race for Grace and Fireman Chase has been scheduled! The 5th annual race will be held at Patriot Park in Spotsylvania (same venue as last year) on Sunday, September 12th. The Race for Grace 5K will begin at 0830 and the gun will sound for the Kid’s 1-Mile Fireman Chase at 0930.
Thanks to our sponsors, this year we have a special prize of $1000 to the athletic program at the school with the most registered runners! This is not just for kids. All parents, teachers, and administrators may participate as well and list the school they are sponsoring on the registration form. All registrations must be received by September 11th to count for the prize, so register early!
We are currently looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor this year’s race, so put your feelers out. If you, or anyone you know is interested in supporting local families with cancer, please have them contact Alec at 888-900-GOCF (4623) Extension 703 or via email at director@thegocf.org.
